The Absolute Shift You Must Make For Financial Stability.

This article will challenge you to shift your focus when it comes to your finances and asserts the paradigm that anything is possible. What we focus on, we tend to attract and therefore it’s important to focus on what you do want in financial terms (e.g. financial stability) rather than on what you don’t want (e.g. debt and financial despair) or what you’re trying to get away from.

Today, we live in a world where most people have some element of financial struggle, be that found in having to live a frugal life or deal with debt.  However, if you want to improve your financial situation then you must shift your focus. See, what we think about we bring about, and if you’re constantly focused on debt or money saving ideas – you’re not allowing yourself to focus on the one thing you need to focus on in order to create a better financial situation for yourself and your family: taking action, and finding a way to increase your income.

Have you ever noticed that some people will spend hours upon hours searching for cost saving coupons, where they might save a few cents off their grocery shop – when, if they reinvested their time into creating value for another party, they could make more money, meaning they wouldn’t have to be so focused on cost-saving.

Now, there’s nothing wrong with cost-saving, indeed there are many ways you can save money that make a lot of sense – but some people are trapped in such a blinkered focus of “saving money” they forget the most vital ingredient to financial fulfillment is making it!

See, bringing money in tends to be a much more powerful remedy to financial problems than saving money.  Some people feel backed into a corner, where they are on a fixed income, or in a situation that means they can’t work – or perhaps they’re already working a few jobs and simply don’t have enough hours in the day to bring any more money in.

This is where the focus needs to shift, as there’s always a way – it’s just a matter of finding it; whether that’s getting out of debt by looking tools such as reviews by the Motley Fool of the best financial products to help someone turn their situation around…or if it’s about creating value through setting up a side-hustle or getting a higher paying job.

Whether we like it or not, money is the vital fuel that transports us from where we are to where we want to be and facilitates the experiences and lifestyles we desire. The greatest challenge is that if you’re in a situation where money is tight it’s very easy to allow this to consume your focus, and therefore paralyse you from taking the remedial action necessary to bring in more money. The mantra to remember is the “more you do smartly the more you get” meaning, the more you do to improve your financial situation the better it will get – and there’s no better thing you can do than generating income. There are many strategies when it comes to creating wealth, yet the most fundamental is a shift in your own psychology.

Attitude is everything, as many a personal development guru will tell you – the mind is an incredibly powerful tool and wealthy people condition their mind to focus on what they want rather than what they don’t want. It’s been proven that the thoughts you think become the things you experience; for instance, if you are focused on debt there is a metaphysical tendency to attract more debt, whereas if you have a positive mental attitude and focus on what you do want to create, then you will naturally drawn this to you.

In summary, focus on what you do want, rather than on what you don’t want and take action to achieve your highest financial goals.  Shift your focus and you will change your life.
